Hi, I'm Cheyenne Bailey-Jackowski

I'm the breeder behind Horizon Kennels located in Crystal Lake, IL. I am breeding working line Border Collies. I focus on drive, structure, and health. Placing each dog in the perfect home brings me so much joy. I make sure each and every puppy is able to perform in the way they were meant to. We are breeders who do everything we can to better the breed and ensure our dogs and puppies are able to get the very most out of life.

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm with cattle which brought Border Collies into my life. I now work at a vet office and am looking to go to school to become a reproductive specialist in the veterinary field. My dogs are my life. I dedicate my days training and working with them.

I’ve researched breeding since I was about 15. The first litter I whelped was from a shelter. Watching the puppies take their first breath to seeing them walk and play brings me so much happiness.

​We aren’t breeding for profit. We breed to have stable pups. I want to do my part in bettering the breed.
